Bridging the Gaps

Here are just a few of the projects we're currently working on:

  • developing networks of environmental health practitioners, policy-makers, and researchers;
  • identifying partners nationally and globally, and building capacity via secondments and practicums;
  • producing several review, guidance, and summary documents on topics such as home drinking water filters, indoor radon, and grow ops;
  • contracting with various public health agencies and universities for additional reviews; and
  • carrying out a major project to enumerate past cases of waterborne illnesses in Canada and to identify drinking water system risk factors associated with them.

The completed documents are being posted in our review, guidance, and summary documents section. This section also features documents created by other organizations that help fill in the gaps for environmental health practice and policy.
