How Environmental Health is Organized in Canada
The NCCEH continues to be a valuable resource to our target group of public health inspectors, medical health officers, and others by collating and sharing information, and facilitating linkages between various agencies and organizations throughout Canada.
Notably, we're collaborating with the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors on a major project. This involves an in-depth survey to collect and present information about:
- environmental health services/programs delivered by various agencies;
- current projects that agencies are conducting in the area of environmental health;
- innovative practices occurring within agencies;
- professional development.
We also provide regularly updated links to provincial, territorial, and federal legislation related to environmental health in Canada.
