Juliette O’Keeffe – MSc, PhD Candidate
Environmental Health and Knowledge Translation Scientist
Juliette’s recent experience has focused on the delivery of research with practical applications for industry and policy makers in the areas of rural drinking water and wastewater treatment, bioenergy, waste management and resource efficiency. Prior to joining the NCCEH team she worked as a research office in the Urban Water Technology Centre at University of Abertay, Scotland, and previously at Dundee’s Public Analyst and the Scottish EPA. She is currently completing a PhD in Environmental Science focussing on the transfer of persistent organic pollutants from biosolids into the environment. She holds a BSc Honors degree in Environmental Biology (SFU), and an MSc in Energy and Environmental Management (University of Abertay).
