Aroha Miller—BSc, PhD

Environmental Health and Knowledge Translation Scientist

Aroha received her PhD in Zoology from Otago University, Dunedin, New Zealand, with a focus on invasive marine species. She also holds a BSc honors in Zoology (Otago University). After completing her PhD, Aroha undertook a post-doc position focusing on wildlife management and pesticide use in New Zealand, before working in Sweden researching ecotoxicology of fish. She then moved to Vancouver and worked at the University of British Columbia on ecotoxicology of aquatic birds.
