Patrick Levallois—MD, MSc, FRCPC

Dr. Levallois received his medical degree from the University of Caen, France, in 1980. After several years of practicing family medicine in Montreal, he decided to focus on public health. He obtained his Master’s in Epidemiology from Laval University in 1987 and a Specialist Certificate in Community Medicine in 1988. Dr. Levallois is currently acting as Medical Advisor for the INSPQ (Institut national de santé publique du Québec) in several environmental areas, including water. He leads the Water Scientific Group of the Institute. He is provincial service head at the Public Health Department of the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Québec and teaches Epidemiology and Environmental Health as a professor at the Laval University Social and Preventative Medicine Department.
